Meet Dr. Andy Skrypek, DDS
Dr. Andy grew up in Rochester, New York. Ever since she was given braces in high school, she knew there was more to dentistry than just the cleaning. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. John Fisher college of Rochester in 2013. She proceeded with her dental education at the University at Buffalo. In the following year, she completed a general practice residency at the Erie County Medical Center.
Dr. Andy enjoys art and music in her free time. She often takes photographs of Buffalo, creates her own wood furniture, and attends shows for local music groups. The art of dentistry is what first interested her about the profession, and she enjoys exercising her skills to make better smiles. She’s been said to have some of the softest hands in her field.
“I like to think I’m extremely gentle with my patients. You want to eliminate their fear of dentistry because that fear can lead to passing up on necessary treatment, or worse, not even knowing there is a problem.”
“I want them to feel comfortable.”
